Men in Kenya are affected more by mental health challenges than their female counterparts, a report by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics has established. Apart from mental disorders, more men also suffer from TB and kidney problems as compared to women. Despite having smaller numbers of mental health challenges, women suffer most from chronic illnesses. According to the report, men die at higher rates than women. While more than 130,000 men died, the figure for women stands at about 100,000.
